Proclaim use US standard(?) quote marks. In Sweden we use another standard. We have the same quote marks in the beginning of the quote as Proclaim use in the end of the quote.
I want an option in the settings to adjust this.
You are welcome to post all of your suggested features to our UserVoice page: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/39536.aspx
Thanks,
I don't want to suggest a favorite feature. I just want the option to edit the text in the slides. Todays work around is to not use the quote marks at all. That's the best Proclaim can offer at the moment.
Have you tried switching to a Swedish keyboard in Windows? You can add the Swedish keyboard by selecting Control Panel > Clock, Language and Region > Change Keyboards or other Input Methods.
Then, select Change Keyboards and add the Swedish keyboard to your list of installed services. You can then toggle to the Swedish keyboard by clicking on the "EN" link in your system tray.
See if that works for you.
Otherwise, support for languages besides English is not currently planned for the initial release of Proclaim but we are looking into localization for future releases.

Thanks for your suggestions but this has nothing to do with language settings or different keyboard layouts.
Try this in a content slide and you will se what I mean:
1. Type: This is a "test" in Proclaim
2. Move the insert point to the end of the word test but before the quote mark.
3. Now insert a blank space between the word test and the quote mark.
Your quote mark take a new shape. (Sorry if I can't express this clear enough)
In most word processors (WordPerfect, OpenOffice, LibreOffice...) you have settings to adjust what "sort of" quote mark you want to get in the beginning of quote and a setting for the shape of the quote mark in the end of the quote. I think this is needed in Proclaim too.
I see what you mean now. Yes, this is a standard feature of fully-fledged word processors but is not included in Proclaim at this time. I have communicated your suggestion to our developers for review.
Thanks again,
