The John Wesley Collection in Prepub is getting close to going into production. Let's put this collection over the top!
I can't imagine any serious student of theology and church history not wanting the works of spiritual giants such as Calvin, Luther, Wesley, etc.
This is the only collection of Wesley's Works that Logos intends to publish for the present. .Many of us already have the Jackson edition of Wesley's Works in Logos format published by Ages. That is no longer sold by Logos. And even those of us who have the Ages edition do not have some of the material in Wesley's Journal that included here.
Of course, every serious student of Wesley hopes that Logos will eventually publish the only scholarly and critical edition of Wesley's Works, which is the "Bicentennial Edition" published by Abingdon. That edition is edited with wonderful notes and introductions by such scholars as Thomas Oden. But if we show no interest in this edition, it may be hard to convince Logos to put more effort into getting better Wesleyan resources. That is one reason that I have ordered this set, even though I have 90+ % of it in the Ages version.
