I am switching from a Dell computer to a Mac. I have the Logos silver edition version 3. Will it be compatable with my new Mac Book?
If not, what do I do?

You can run Logos 4 with your licenses from version 3, but some features require new resources that were released with version 4 in order to really shine.

Thankful for Logos licensing, which allows resources to be used on a variety of electronic devices including Logos 4 on Mac and Windows.
Curious about Mac Book hardware specs ? Recommend 4 GB or more RAM with 2nd Generation Core i5 or i7 processor plus fast storage. Dedicated graphics is helpful.
Currently Logos 4 on Mac needs more improvements to match all features on PC; wiki Mac and PC User Interface Differences => Feature Parity lists discrepancies, which have been gathered from many forum discussions, along with Logos 4 Beta progress. Logos 4.5 Beta has many improvements on Mac. Thankful for awesome Logos Bible Software on many platforms, including Mac and PC.
Since Logos 4 on Mac and PC use the same resource files, can use wiki Quick Installation onto Multiple Macs => Copy Logos 4 Resources to Mac OS X steps, which has path for Logos 4 on PC (installed per user). In contrast, Logos 3 (also known as Libronix 3) installed resources once on a computer for all users. To import notes, etc from Libronix 3, need to install Logos 4 on Dell computer. Wiki has => Importing Notes from LDLS3 After importing into Logos 4 on Windows, can sync with Logos servers, then sync with Logos 4 on Mac.

If you can afford to upgrade from Silver to Gold when you move to version 4, you will most likely really enjoy what you get in the upgrade!

So I have my new Mac now, and loaded my start up disk into the the computer and it will not run. It acts as though it does not know how to run it. I don't wish to spend the 200 at this time to upgrade... What would you recommend me doing?
Technically speaking, you can upgrade to L4 (Mac) without spending anything. I did.
