Can the header and footer text size be changed?

The fonts are almost too small for my eyes to make out what the page number is at the bottom or chapter at the top.  Is there any way the text can be enlarged?

    Whether it affects page numbers or not I can't say, but go to Settings on the menu button and adjust Text Size (else it cannot be done).

    Tap in the center of a page and the header and footer fonts get enlarged temporarily.
