Can't make it work

Hey. I just bought Logos 4 as a download but i am asked for a Libronix customer ID, which i can't get since i also got Libronix DSL as a download and therefore have no disc to use for activation. Any help getting this (expensive) application to work is appreciated.

Christian, Support personnel are a bit overwhelmed right now. If you've sent an email, they will attempt a response as soon as they are able.

I think you have to enter the ID in the box for registration and later use, 'cause its just showing an empty textfield.

I'll just wait a little longer for support to reply. Do you have any idea how long it will take them, Thomas?

Christian, you should have an ID, if you already owned Libronix v3. That is what I was explaining to you in the other post (you posted under the same name). The ID you find on the logos.com, you write to Log In at the installation process. I don't think you can exist with having Libronix DLS and not having an Account with Logos.

To the best of my knowledge thsi should be your www.logos.com ID, which should be the same as what you used to log into the forum here. It is worth a shot at least.

Ken is right. What ever user name and password you use to get into your account on www.logos.com or into this forum, is the same one you use to log in to L4.

I haven't got Libronix 3. The mac page only linked to Libronix 1.2.2. Do you know where i can find version 3, then I'll try it?

By the way, I actually just received a mail from the support team and it seems that there are no support for the mac-version until the full-release, so right now i really need some community help.

You said in your first post you got your Libronix by download, so I assume you have to have an account with Logos. There is no other way you would be able to use your Libronix, whether PC or MAC version. That's IMHO. How would you have any access to your resources? But I do not have MAC, so you need help from some MAC guys. I am sorry.

I do have an account here on the Logos website, but haven't got a Libronix account. I bought the entire Scholars edition as a download, and downloaded the client program, but it said i should enter my Libronix ID for downloading the resources, so i downloaded the Libronix DSL 1.2.2 (I just noticed that it says I can't use version 3 for Logos 4), which i was referred to on the website, installed it, and tried to activate it, so I could get the Libronix user ID, but it said i need a CD to be able to activate as a new Libronix user (even though it says on the product page I must choose download to use Logos 4).

I just don't know what to do. I mailed the support saying that i expect some support when i've paid $689.95 for a product, but other than that I can only think of getting my money back and walk away disappointed, though i hope not to.

OK, so you have a www.logos.com account. Try going over there to your account page, My Orders. Is your new package listed? As for the rest, unfortunately this is the 4.0 release version, which means Windows for now. The only support for 4.0 Mac is in http://community.logos.com/forums/75.aspx For version 1.2.2 for Mac, try http://community.logos.com/forums/46.aspx

Christian, I think you need really to write your question to the MAC forum http://community.logos.com/forums/46.aspx You might get some help by other guys who activated their MAC Logos. We with PC version are not sure how MAC Logos activation works.

Saw that, but since you are asking for a Libronix ID, you probably are trying to get 1.2.2 to work and not 4.0 to work now, right? If so, go to the Mac 1 group.
