The ESV seems to want to insinuate itself upon my life all the time in Biblia and Android app. Am I setup wrong somehow? I love the ESV too, FWIW.

I thought the ASV was the Android default. However, I cannot really speak as ESV is my preferred bible, but I know that syncing changed preferences from desktop is a hit and miss affair. What are your preferences that are apparently being ignored? When were they set in relation to installing on the device?

I recall reading some time ago in the Forum that the ESV is much more accomodating in it's digital rights than other "new" translations are--therefore it is used a lot by Logos.
It's also a point of, "they got there first" in terms of signing the contract. And once your foot is in the door, it's easier to get the rest of the way in too.
