Does anyone know if the Perseus Book Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle is available in english? The webpage for the collection indicates it is available in both greek and english. For some reason I only have the greek version in my library.

Unfortunately, the product page is in error. The English translation of the Nicomachean Ethics was not released under the creative commons license by The Perseus Project, so it is not included in the Logos collection.
I've requested that the product page be corrected.

I posted an Excel file a little earlier with a listing of all the books included in the Classics collection. I've found that if works are listed twice, then that means they usually have an English translation available.
Not so for the NE, unfortunately.

The W. D. Ross translation is still under copyright? The translation on the Perseus page seems to be from a different translator.
It is impossible to tell without a thorough word-by-word comparison whether the translation by Ross on the Internet Archive is his original one from 1925 published in The Works of Aristotle Translated into English (Oxford) or a later revision (1954). Ross died in 1971. He was British so I presume his work falls under UK copyright law. I'm not quite sure how to apply the table here (when do you base in on author's death, and when on publication date?). In any event, there's a certain amount of doubt -- if we're talking 70 years from either 1954 or 1971 it's still within copyright.
The Perseus translation is the one by H. Rackham. A reader on Amazon.com reviews it thus "The english text (available at Perseus Digital Library) is intended for those who want to read the greek text and use the english as a support, as the english text will often interpret the text and undo many of the obscurities of the original, preserved in more faithful translations as the one of W.D. Ross. For those working with this text I would recomend both Rackham's and Ross's translations."

(Much easier if you "View text chunked by: Book" There would still be some cleanup required, since I can see already from Book 1 that the carriage returns near section numbers are messed up. And getting all the footnotes properly converted into a Word document would be a significant amount of work. It would be a great resource to have in Logos, though, for anyone doing any serious study on Aristotle.
