Folks what follows will only reveal my questionable pursuit of tidiness that would make for a good clinical study for a psychiatrist. Nevertheless, I must ask these questions which have haunted me over the last year or so of using Logos 4.
After a study session I usually like to tidy up and setup for the next session. I routinely Close All (made a link for quick access), clear the searches and history entries, and delete the unnecessary layouts generated (wished there was a way to turn this feature off).
Question 1: I have often wondered if there was a simple way to also “reset” my resources. What I mean is Logos remembers where I was in every resource I have used (there may be some exceptions). I would prefer usually to open a book at the cover or toc. Are these bookmarks stored in one common file that can be deleted (if one is so inclined), or are they in a variety of files? Do these files all share a common suffix? If so, and I deleted them, would the Cloud put them back? Basically, what I am asking is there an easy way to “close” all the virtual books after you are done the session.
Question 2: While I usually use a personalized layout, which I update each week where I left off, occasionally I use the default passage search. It seems the only way to remove the entry from the passage bar is to restart Logos 4. Is there a way while remaining in the same session to delete this entry?
Please no replies from any psychiatrists out there.
