Problem not necessarily a bug

I'm fine on the laptop and Android ... but someone doesn't like my PC: When I try to log in I can't connect to Logos:

Logos will need more info to track that down: What were you attempting to do when that occurred? Also log file might be helpful if you happen to still have it.

I filled in the information that I was simply trying to bring Logos up online - since Logos doesn't support beta I thought Dave might recognize the error message and know a bit more about it than I. I've got a couple more things to try before I start to panic.

That seems to have occurred during the period of the announced server maintainance for Notes. Can you connect now?

Yes and no - I was locked out for about 6 hours. Doing a repair on the Logos 4 prerequisites got me back into business ... I still have only a general idea of what was wrong but that fixed it.

I'd say that was a coincidence as the problem is an active one between your computer and the Logos server.

I agree ... but I kept moving back in possibilities until it was fixed. I'll probably wake up in the middle of the night still trying to piece the symptoms and the solution together.[:(]

I've had mysterious bugs that have disappeared over night before without me ever being able to figure out what fixed the problem, and I've chalked it up to God knowing more about how computers work than I do. ;-)
