בֵּית נָעֳמִי הַזְּקֵנָה versus

עֵינֵי יוֹסֵף הַזְּקֵנוֹת

The first line I correctly translated as the house of old Naomi.....The second one I translated as....the eyes of old Joseph but that is supposedly transated as...the old eyes of joseph....

1. Could the first line be translated as the old house of Naomi? 2. Is the second one actually supposed to be my way ...the answer book is wrong?

Note the gender and the number of the adjective in each case for clues as to which noun it is modifying.
