Erase wipes out all highlighting styles including those that start before and finish after
and yes I removed the b and the space before hitting erase
this is a definite bug - it should not be touching the outer highlight, just the inner one
I think Logos will reply that this is "by design". Nontheless, I just had a similar situation and hit "Erase" to remove the highlight I just applied; so now I have to figure how to connect the outer (spanning) highlight.
