Users can type a filename of a Logos resource into the Go box and the system will find it, and bring it up. This does not work with eBooks (from Vyrso) or Personal Books. Could we have this same functionality on all Logos resources?

Yes... but Vyrso resources are NOT Logos resources. I don't know how much more effort would be required to do this, but Vyrso books have very little done to them other than an automated scripture hyperlinking.
I have not had this problem. I tested this with PBs and ebooks from Vyrso and it pulled them right up. The AutoComplete even listed them before I had the full names entered into the Go box. You might have a bug.

Not sure what you mean by "not Logos resources", but Vyrso books are native format, .logos4 files unlike Personal Books, which are type lbspbb. All I am saying is that within Logos 4, a book from Vyrso like "Athanasius", is associated to a file wit the name 081EC141F9D0A42A4CB8F11073171237.logos4; it would be ideal if the name was shortened or more user-friendly, but it would be nice to be able to call up ALL resources, Logos 4, Vyrso, and PBs, by filename (like we can in Logos 3), if for no other reason than to easily identify the file.
No bug - I am not referring to by Title of resource ("Athanasius"), but by file name ("081EC141F9D0A42A4CB8F11073171237") since that works with Logos 4 files.
I misunderstood, for some reason I read "filename" as meaning the title name.
Although, I am curious why someone would access these through the "Go box" by filename?

Logos currently has three resource "editions": Logos, eBook (Vyrso), and User Created (PB's). To keep costs down and to speed up production, Vyrso resource editions are not heavily tagged. It is my understanding that much of the process is automated.
As I said in my earlier post, I don't know how difficult it would be to do this. If the process couldn't be automated, personally I don't think it would be worth the time and effort.
EDIT: I didn't understand you as well. Why would someone even care to pull up the resource by filename? Why would someone ever need to "identify the file?"
Perhaps I don't understand (which I think is evident by now [:)]), but you can find the file name under the "info" button.
Why would someone even care to pull up the resource by filename?
Because the file name is the only thing he knows. He doesn't know what resource is contained in that file. That's what he's trying to find out.

Exactly, thanks fgh. And I don't think it has anything to do with tagging, that's for data within n the resource. I am trying to get at the filename. Try it with a Logos resource in the command box. Like that. I would bet they have the logic in there already, as something is associating the Title we select in the Library list, or from the Go box, and turning it into the file to open. This seems to be a very simple thing.

Did it with ANFRC05 (Ante-Nicene-Fathers Vol 5 RC edition) and with 76B6ADB276FC17727BBE17EB15AF4634 (Near to the Heart of God) as well as 031864B32B2751188C6A72F73C07868E (To Know and Love God) - no difference. Both Vyrso-books are .logos4-files and both are opened from the command box if I don't include the extension .logos4 but only the name. Both don't work from the Go-Box, as is the case with ANFRC05 as well. PBs don't work.
Thus, the Vyrso-books work - I'm running Beta 13, though.
Ah you are right Mick! I must have typed that long number/letter name in wrong the first time.
But PB books don't work, right?
Why would someone need to know the info that way?

No they don't. I wonder whether Logos looks up this information from the cloud (thus not knowing your local PB) or whether .logos4 files are kept in another table than the .lbspbb files (and why they have different formats at all...)
Since PB's are indexed separately, could that be the problem?

Maybe it helps to see Dominick's other thread http://community.logos.com/forums/t/43311.aspx - however, synchronizing two folders with different PB files could probably done as well by scanning the delta files.
