Classic Commentaries and Studies of the Epistle of James carrying duplicates?

I'm not sure what guidelines Logos follows here, but while viewing the Classic Commentaries and Studies on the Epistle of James I noticed what I believe to be the same resources in two different Pre Pub collections:

Manton's:

CC on James (Manton)
Complete Works of Manton Vol. 4

and again with Stier:

CC on James (Stier)
Works of Stier

I guess I'm asking if this is intentional, unavoidable, and/or something Logos plans to do with other author collections and the Classic Commentary series? In this particular case, Manton and Stier would be my only reason to buy the Classic Commentaries and Studies on James Collection except for Johnstone.

Please include 'A Practical and Social Aspects of Christianity: The Widom of James' by A. T. Robertson to your list. It is available under a different title here, Studies in the Epistle of James in the A. T. Robertson Collection.

Touche'! [:D] I had my eye on Roberston but didn't dig deep enough. Thanks for the find. As I can see this may be the only CC&S series in which I'm finding the same resources in an Author's Collection.

I am excited about the adjusted Hodge collection and grateful that Logos made that accomodation for those who already own Hodge's commentaries.

As Paul Chatfield has noted, I don't believe there are too many CC&S Collections left to post to pre-pub. Hopefully the overlap was just an overlook.

Ted, I'm sure you were thinking this and it went straight over my head. A solution here could be as you referred to with Hodge. Logos could share the individual would be duplicates between CC&S and the Author's Collection that way no one would lose out in obtaining these authors if they bought either collection. It would also prevent redundancy within our Logos libraries if we did buy the CC&S as well as the Author's collection yet held a single license for the overlaps.

Perhaps the reading of Manton on James will get bidders for all his works. For those that dont have it, theres no one who does James better than Manton.[Y]

I noticed what I believe to be the same resources in two different Pre Pub collections:

I also believe The Syriac New Testament: Translated into English from the Peshitto Version in Early Bible Translations Collection (15 vols.) is the same book as The New Testament: A Literal Translation from the Syriac Peshitto Version in the Gorgias Press Syriac Collection (9 vols.), except that the former is the 'original', and the latter a reprint (and no longer in prepub).

I really wish they moved the Early Bible Translations Collection (15 vols.) to CP. I want it, but there's no way I can defend paying that price. [:(]
