Liberty Bible Commentary

Every now and then I enjoy using concise Bible commentaries like the Bible Knowledge Commentary, Believer's Bible Commentary, and the New Bible Commentary. Sometimes I just want a brief and simplified explanation. They have very little "junk" to shift through. They are also good for pastors who are looking for a succinct way of explaining a passage.

I found an interesting one the other day that is no longer in print. I thought I would suggest it and see if Logos would breath new life into it. It appears to have been produced for Liberty University in the 80s.

    I may be mistaken here but I believe the Liberty Bible Commentary was republished under the title: "King James Version Bible Commentary"

    The related Liberty Annotated Study Bible was republished and is available in Logos as Nelson's King James Study Bible  

    I would like a Works of Jerry Fallwell collection. There is one book in Vyrso by him, Building Dynamic Faith, along with related study materials.

    I think Liberty University is a fine school.

    Yes ... I keep the KJV Bible Commentary in my paging sequence, since it's short/sweet and periodically offers another angle to track down that the big boys don't mention. Similarly Utley.

    You are correct! Thank you for this information. I am surprised I didn't notice this. I own both on Logos already.
