Is this title also available in L3 Libronix format? Yesterday when I purchased some items the sales person had a list of resources that had L3 corresponding files with them. I made my purchase, was able to download the L3 version and sync the licences without a problem.

Today when I called Logos no one knew about the list nor could they tell me if the ISBE95 was available in L3 format.

Unfortunately I did not remember the name of the sales person that helped me.

Yes. You can find it at ftp://ftp.logos.com/lbxbooks/ the title for ISBE revised (1988, not 1995, BTW) is isbe.lbxlls.

Sometimes the sales people are not up to date on all the options with Libronix. The good ones will say "Let me find out for you." The not so good ones will just say "I don't know anything about that." This is an issue that Logos has addressed in the past. Perhaps a Logos employee will see this thread and recognize a need for further training for (some of) their sales staff.

I did go to the ftp site and was confused because I could only find the one isbe file and not a file showing the year it was updated. I check the file name for older isbe in L4 and it was listed as isbe.logos4 which made me think that the isbe file I found in the ftp as the older version.

When I looked at the Logos products page the isbe was listed as the 1979-1995 version and just below it the 1915 version.

Actually, right now this list would be some 12000 lines long.... as an approximation, it is safe to assume that a Logos-resource has a corresponding Libronix file if it was produced earlier than 2012 - unless it is a Perseus resource or an exotic type that requires enhanced character/picture display (such as timelines, graphical syntax visualisation, Syriac reproduction).

The older ISBE (1915) has the file name as_isbe.lbxlls (at least on my system - that would be the Ages Software version). ISBE revised is isbe.lbxlls or isbe.logos4.

I opened Libronix to check on which version I had there. I only had one, the revised (88) version. "About this resource" gave isbe.lbxlls as the file name. I would not have known that was the revised ISBE any other way. You're right that the Logos web page lists the dates as 1979-1995. However the copyright info in the book lists the copyright date as 1988, and earlier in the book description as the "1979, revised [ISBE]." I wish the descriptions on the web page were consistent with the internal data.
