Looking for a Bible listed as included in my Base package?

Hello,

I have the 'Bible Study' base package, and on logos.com it say it includes the ESV Greek and Hebrew interlinears. When I search for them, however, nothing comes up. Any suggestions?

I'm a brand new user of Logos 4 for Mac, on a macbook circa 2007. It's coping surprisingly well with the size of the program, and is really no slower than before I added it. Indexing took under 4 hours. International shipping only took a week, which as they say up to 6 weeks isn't bad at all.

Reverse Interlinears do not show up in the Library. However, if you open the ESV bible and click on the "Interlinear" symbol (right beside "Display"), the interlinear panel will open below the ESV bible text.

The Reverse Interlinears are features of the respective bible, not resources you can see in the library. If you open the ESV you'll be able to open "Display" and check "inline" to see interlinear information right along the English text or click the interlinear button right to it which will open the interlinear in a kind of ribbon on the bottom of the ESV page.

Re quick reply: we both happen to be from Germany, where it's near 2 p.m. right now, that might have helped a bit.

Be aware that the ESV interlinears are Reverse Interlinears, answering the question "what Greek words did the ESV translators translate how" and helping a bit with "what could have been alternative translations". They mix up the Greek text to adjust to the ESV translation. Normal interlinears will give you more insight into the Greek sentence structure and also provide a more rough, really literal draft translation in Greek word order. (same goes for Hebrew)

One use for interlinear tagging is highlighting Greek verb moods and tenses in English using visual filters. Wiki has Extended Tips for Visual Filters => Examples of visual filters that includes Logos Greek Morphology examples.

Interlinear caution: Greek is not English; often words have different range of meanings and nuances.
