Full Logos Features from iPad
Maybe I'm a little slow, but I have recently discovered something worth sharing. There is an app for the iPad called Splashtop Remote. It only costs $5, and with it you can control your desktop through your iPad. The first thing I did was try out my Logos. You can do just about everything through your iPad.
I was a little excited to use personal books for sermons and classes, but it's pretty hard to hover over a passage instead of outright clicking it. It van be done though.
Anyway, here's a way to have all of the things we want in our app but that we still are yet to see.

Hey Ryan,
I use an app called LogMeIn Ignition which I like a little bit better than Splashtop Remote but they both do the same thing.... and it's great. I really enjoy my iPad and use it for all kinds of stuff. I doesn't seem all that long ago that I was excited about laptops and now mine sits on my desk most of the time.
Now while I'm excited about what these apps can do with Logos, I'm still anxiously awaiting notes and highlighting in the Logos app.

If you use LogMeIn Ignition, you get a little virtual mouse that you can move around the screen and hover over things.
It is a bit more expensive, but I have been using their desktop software for business for some years and Ignition has been my main way using Logos since I got the iPad.

Splashtop's got the better price. But a major flaw for splashtop is that it won't lock or disable your computer's monitor while using the remote. So, while remotely controlling your computer while away from your office - anyone can see what you're working on. LogMeIn does disable the monitor and has the ability to lock control of the physical desktop while you're controlling it remotely. $.02

Not any more. You can get LogMeIn for free. A version similar to ignition that does a lot of what ignition does.

Hi Ryan,
I came across Splashtop a while back and agree it is fantastic.
I use it all the time on wireless network and via 3G.
