BUG: Floating wIndows don't remember position when started or minimised/restored

Floating windows never remember the position that they were put in when the program is started, or when windows are minimised and then restored (and main window occasionally doesn't either).

With more than a few floating windows open most of the time, it gets very frustrating to have to not only have to reposition each of them when starting the program. But more importantly each time they are minimised to work on other programs temporarily and then restored where they lose their position. This usually happens several times a day for me.

Please help address this little but annoying bug.

That applies to docking them (returning them as tabs in the Main window).

You have posted a Bug report and that is the best thing to do.

Ahh, I had assumed that the uservoice was about the positioning of windows - my mistake. Thatnks for pointing that out Dave. Although that is something that would be useful to have resolved too.

I've mentioned before and watched this issue of the positioning of windows for some time, and decided that I'd just raise it as a bug now, in hope.
