Has anyone received their Christmas Credit?

I understand that the credit will be applied by Jan 30. But I'm wondering if anyone has received their credit yet. And if so, were you notified via email, or did you just check your account and notice it had been applied?

My seminary classes resume next week and one of my textbooks is available through Logos. I would like to use my credit to purchase said textbook, but may just have to bite the bullet and get it without using the credit. I don't want to keep checking my account each day if Logos lets us know by email when the credit is ready.

If you buy through a sales rep he may be able to apply the credit even though it's not yet 'official'. Worth asking.

My understanding is that the answer is no. Pre-orders are not currently part of the credit system. The reason is actually in the website. The shopping cart just can't handle that type of transaction. EDIT: and it is a non-trivial matter to add that level of function.

Presently the Logos Credit tally from the Christmas promotion appears at the top of our order page. I do not know if it will be displayed differently once it is released to our accounts for use. If you have ever received an account credit before, you may have noticed the credit balance appears on your main account page. Logos still displays it there when it is available for use.

The real question is how do we use the credit when they are available? Will it require the involvement of a live Customer Service or Sales Rep? Will Logos add a check box option for self-service checkout? Unless something develops, there will need to be a few people assigned to cover the extra labor generated.

There is always the 30 day money back guarantee. As Fabrice suggests, it may be possible for Logos sales to refund you by using your Logos credit after 30 Jan.

If not, simply buy the book now with cash, get your money back when your Christmas credit becomes available, then repurchase the book!

you CAN use a live person; but you won't have to. Logos' website gives you the opportunity to pay with the credit you have DURING the checkout procedure.
