I had my laptop serviced. cleaned everything off the hard drive and having to start again. How can i get my logo software basic package back on my laptop?

Were you using Logos 4 or version 3 ?
Did you sync your licence with the server at Logos before your hard drive was wiped ?

Head over to http://www.logos.com/4ways and download the installer.
Once you sign in to the installed program your books will download and index.
Ready to go. (it will take time to download and index though).
Good question David, my instructions assume Logos 4.
Logos 3 gets a bit more involved.
