MUST I have Internet Access at church to run Proclaim?????

I spent a god bit of time yesterday working with this program at home in my office , and so far I rally like it!

It is a bit "buggy" but I know improvements are alway coming

HERE IS WHAT MAKES OR BREAKS THE DEAL FOR ME:

Since We do not have internet access at the church. I can do all the work at home or wherever I have internet.

But what happens when I get to church and open up the program? Will my presentation be there?

Hi Kenny

If you have done the work on a laptop at home and then take the laptop to church then - assuming the presentation has been cached to your laptop - which it should have been then you will be able to present it without any problems.

There are some things you won't be able to do - for example use the remote apps on iOS but the basic functionality will be there.

If you are using videos ensure that you are accessing them locally, not via the cloud.

There have been various discussions of this in the forum and you might want to scroll through and review them but this is the basic position.

Once I get to church, can I make changes to my proclaim presentation? Such as change a song/ correct a slide etc?

I'm really liking all the features I'm discovering, My presentations are very simple right now, but I want to to be able to use more of the cool aspects of Proclaim as I learn my way around it.

Since I'm Pastor/Worship Leader/Multimedia-Tech guy all in one I've been looking for something that is user friendly but also has great features. So far Proclaim has what i'm looking for.

Yes, you can edit the local cached version - see http://community.logos.com/forums/t/41222.aspx for a discussion on this and its limitations.

There is a thread at http://community.logos.com/forums/p/42674/317773.aspx which outlines how you can know it has been fully cached.

You might want to try this out - to check you can do all you want to do - before using this for a live service!

Yes, you most certainly can make changes without internet access!

You should note that if you want to use new background images or videos that you should select the "Local file only" option when selecting media.
