Android SDcard vs. SDcard-ext: Can I change where Books/Data is stored?
In the Logos App for Android, is there a way to tell the program WHERE to look for resources/DATA???
Apparently a few of the newer phones have something, well, new. They have THREE (3) places for Data. Like almost all Android phones, we have Phone Memory (RAM?) and the External SD Card. However, some newer phones are coming with three storage places 1) Phone Memory, 2) Internal SD Card, and 3) External (user supplied) SD Card. By default, the Android system (2.3.5) places data in the Internal SD Card when using MOVE TO SD CARD.
You might be thinking.. So what? When I say internal SDCard, I am referring to one that comes on the circuit board of the phone, NOT the one the user adds (be that inside the Phone or on the side of a case). And the phone (Android) refers to this third area (internal SDCard) as simply "SDcard"... it gives a new name "SDcard-ext" to the user supplied SDCard! This means when the user goes into his settings and chooses "MOVE TO SDCARD", that the data will go to this small area of storage, and not to the external SDCard.
So, is there a work around? My internal card (called USB Storage by ANdroid.... and also called SDCARD) that I cannot change or access is filled up completely. O bytes free. My 16 GB external card (user supplied) has plenty of room. So, is there a way to tell logos "copy resource data to the SDcard-ext" ??? Or any app that might help?
I am using a Samsung Exhibit II. It's a great little phone in that you get nearly unlimited data, text, and a little talk for just $30 a month, no contract, no extra taxes. But this "internal Card vs. External Card" is driving me nuts!

The terminology is confusing, but Logos is installed to what it considers to be the SD card and does not recognise books that are moved to external SD. The internal storage can be manipulated by connecting to your PC as "USB Storage", so I can only suggest to make room by removing photos/music, etc.
EDIT: on my Samsung Galaxy phone the external card is a folder called external_sd, so it should also be recognised as part of USB Storage (Mass storage in Settings).
