Hello,

is it somehow possible to make the "Elberfelder" or a new version of the "Luther" (not the 1912) Bible available?

I know quite a few people who would buy it here in Germany.

It is really also a reason why possible Logos customers buy rather "bible works" or "Accordance" because they get there those up to date translation of german bibles.

Would you please make more german Bibles available?!

sincerely

LOVE GOD AND LOVE PEOPLE!

you need http://www.logos.com/product/8644/stuttgart-electronic-study-bible which is co-produced with the German Bible society

    German Bibles

    • Lutherbibel 1984/1999, with lemmatization
    • Lutherbibel 1912
    • Zürcher Bibel 2007, with lemmatization
    • Gute Nachricht Bibel 1997/2000, with lemmatization
    • Einheitsübersetzung with lemmatization
    • Elberfelder Bibel with lemmatization
    • Die Schrift, verdeutscht von Martin Buber und Franz Rosenzweig

Sadly only way to get them currently, hopefully the German Bible Society will eventually release them as individual books, but we have been asking for a long time

    Hello Meik!

As Dominic already stated, the problem lies with the Deutsche Bibelgesellschaft (DBG), not with Logos - it therefore would be best to write directly to software@dbg.de and/or sesb@dbg.de and ask them to make those translations available as single resources for Logos 4.

The only thing is - I get the impression that the DBG doesn't really care about the Stuttgarter Elektronische Studienbibel any longer. I've written them quite a few emails (concerning SESB 4 which was to be published last year but got canceled) and almost never received an answer. Same thing with the German forum for the SESB (sesb-austausch.de) and the product site (sesb-online.de) - the only real active people there seem to be two guys that are also active here at logos.com: NewbieMick and me [;)] - but practically noone from the DBG.
