I assume you want to make this a suggestion. Have you thought about putting it in the Suggestions forums?
A problem may arise in the interface, in that, if implemented, Logos4 would need to call the default search engine of one's default browser. I would assume such is possible. I wouldn't assume such is simple.
For now, copy/paste into a search engine works, and costs only one or two more steps (three if you don't have a second monitor).

I bet, if implemented by Logos4 it will be slower than doing Ctrl-C, Alt-Tab, Mouse Click into browser search box, Ctrl-V and Enter.

Perhaps, but not nearly as elegant, IMO.

If you are running Windows 7, Vista, or perhaps Windows 2003, you can add an address bar to the taskbar spanning the bottom of the screen.
You can then paste the copied term into the address box, hit enter, and your preferred search engine will search the web. That might save a couple of key strokes.
