Logos not hooking up to internet

I am on the internet but when I open logos it does not connect to the internet. I will type update now in the command line and it says that I have to be online. Can I manually connect the program or what can I do. Only had program for a couple of weeks and am getting frustrated.

after clicking on preferences from the menu do you have the last option pictured below (Use Internet) set to "Yes"?

Besides what Paul says, you may also want to check your firewall (if installed) and make sure Logos has permission to access the internet.

Do you connect through a network at an educational institution or a work environment?

If not, how do you connect to the internet?

Also, have you (or someone else) tweaked any router or modem settings?

Finally, if you dare, can you connect if you temporarily turn off all your anti-virus and firewall (including Windows built-in firewall)?
