Even those living at 'home' need to ready themselves and others to understand other faith communities according to their ancient scriptures. This world shrinks by the second.

I live in Oklahoma City and can attest to many different faith communities even here. I suspect most cities will have significant populations that practice these religions. I am happy to see this collection in the pipeline.

I am also very excited to see The Works of Samuel M. Zwemer (18 vols.) for a specifically Islamic focus.

While it's not exhaustive or modern it does look useful, especially as I'll be moving to India next year.

$1.60 a volume (or roughly $11 per religion / philosophy covered) seems a bargain to me. And maybe it will fall lower.

I'm looking forward for the collection. Need some boost for accelerating the project. I have used some of the volumes as bridge-builders with my fellow citizens in India. The translation may look less fluid and terse(I'm no expert) but on the whole kudos to Mr. Mueller for his gargantuan editing effort.

For some of us who're not interested in other faiths/ancient religions, these books open a window(that maybe an understatement, actually the collection has most/all of their respective authoritative texts) to them. An apt use of this "rich" collection will be to read and find out mankind's groping towards God(Acts 17:26-27). For us who've tasted the truth, ancient man's yearning for filling the "God shaped vaccum" can help us appreciate what we may have got so easily.

And I'm sure that one'll find not all of it dreary, on the contrary it may bring amazement and surprise when you read some portions.

I have noticed that Sikhism isn't included, and in fact I can't find any books specifically about Sikhism available on Logos.

Could anyone recommend a good book on the subject? (I would post this as a new post but technically it's not really about Logos products)
