Struggling...

So I created a new reading plan on my desktop about 3 hours ago. My Logos app is up on my iPod, and it is in an excellent wireless range.  I actually saw the home page update once, on its own, and the devotionals say Jan. 21.  But the Reading plan, new, does not show up. It sill has my old Reading plan which is in fact completed and no longer showing on my desktop.

Is this how reading plan sync works, is this normal, or am I doing something wrong? I thought it just sync'd slowly, vs. not at all.

My Logos/iPod app says 1.8.3 for its version.

Thanks.

Apologies, Dominick, if I have totally misunderstood you, but isn't the syncing of reading plans currently broke (i.e. patchy, inconsistent and unreliable)? I know sync 2 has been rolled out on the desktop end, but I understand that the new (eagerly awaited) app is yet to be deployed.

I recall, on another strand, that Bradley suggested that the updated app would be rolled out in the next couple of weeks with a fix for reading plans to be deployed thereafter.

Again, apologies if I have totally misunderstood you (which is possible, it has been a looooooonnnnnng day!).

    God bless

I thnk this may be the issue --- I have been on beta 4.5 (now RC) on the desktop, which is Sync v2. I seem to remember when the beta first came out of 4.5, Bradley said this would not sync with v1 Sync (which the iPod app is). Hence no sync. Make sense?

This is absolutely my understanding. Indeed, I recall reading threads which report the same issues you are experiencing and Bradley's response.

Hopefully the updated app will be rolled out shortly. An exciting thought for a Saturday evening!

I have heard from Dave Dunkin that reading plans are set to be fixed on mobile as soon as 4.5 goes live and notes and highlighting are running on iOS.

Let me clarify. I may be wrong, but I understood that he said it would be fixed after 4.5 goes live and iOS 2.0 is released. We will see a full release of both apps and then after that in a 4.5.1 and/or 2.01 we will see reading plans fixed.

Just helping temper people's expectations that suddenly their reading plans will all work and show up once 4.5 and 2.0 comes out.

That is my understanding as well. It is also my understanding that work is already being done and they hope to release an update very shortly afterwards.
