[SOLVED] Logos 4 Will Not Start

I have a new laptop and am trying to install Logos 4.
When I try to start Logos the splash screen briefly appears and then I see the message "Logos Bible Software 4 has stopped working".
I attempted to repair the program by going to Control Panel | Programs | Programs Features and selecting the "repair" option on Logos 4, but this did not correct the problem.
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on a Toshiba Satellite with an Intel core i5, 6G RAM, and 750G HDD.

Welcome [:D]
Log file shows Logos 4.0 SR-7 version 4.0.3.3272 that was released on Wed 18 Nov 2009; recommend installing a newer Logos 4 version.
Wiki Getting Started with Logos => Installation + Indexing includes download link to current Stable 4.3 SR-8 release => Logos 4 PC Installer
Current public Beta release is Logos 4.5 Release Candidate 1, thread => Logos 4.5 Release Candidate available includes Beta download link. Wiki => Logos 4 Beta Program includes information and risks. Hoping for stable Logos 4.5 release later this month.

That was the solution. Thank you. I was using the disc I purchased with Logos 4 was first released. I was not aware that I could download it from the Logos website in this way.
Thank you for replying to my plea so quickly.

Smiling that solution worked. [:D] Logos 4.3 added a new feature for building your own Personal Books; wiki has => Personal Books
Logos 4.5 combines highlighting and notes; every highlight is a note. Looking forward to stable 4.5 release with server and mobile app updates so can sync highlighting, notes, ... with mobile devices.
Keep Smiling [:)]
