Inaccurate reporting of search timing

I think the search times are somewhat optimistic. I just did a fairly simple search on the book of Revelation in the Greek text for a specific verb lemma in the imperative. It returned 6 results in 3 verses. It took about 3 minutes from the time I hit start but when it finally displayed the verse lists, Logos cheerfully claimed it accomplished this task in 7.06 seconds!

BTW, my indexes are up to date and it was not downloading any updates at the time, since I have auto update turned off.

OK, there are times when the returned value is optimistic (Bradley, how is the internal timing performed?)

But 3 minutes.... I'd be surprised if that was repeatable. What are your system specs?

A similar Bible Search in Revelation took 1.46 sec which was close to my time from start to display of roughly 2 sec.

Could you consider returning two values? One as stated and the other to include formatting, etc (everything until you return the result).
