Sorry I spoke too soon. I thought I had a solution, but it came back after changing layouts. I'm still working on it.

Yeah, I had turned off System Recovery in Vista. Logos 4 started running just great. However, after a while it went south again. So that wasn't it.
I am watching the details of what the software is doing with some system monitoring tools. There's something wrong with the activity in SQLite - something not right, but I haven't isolated it yet.
