Trojan Dropper.Gen5

I just was informed that there was a new installation of Logos 4 that downloaded for installation with 34 meg of updates. When I installed it my Avira antivirus reported the following trojan TR/Dropper.Gen5 located in the Logos4.exe file and would not allow me to install the updates and apparently deleted the Logos4.exe file as it no longer exists on my machine. What should I do?

Hi Dr. Graves - and welcome to the forums

A number of people are seeing this problem - see for example the discussion at http://community.logos.com/forums/p/44195/329435.aspx#329435

The solution is to configure Avira to include Logos4\Logos4.exe as well as Logos4\System\Logos4.exe as exceptions to its scanning.
