Bible Speed Search vs Bible Search

I have been trying to figure out what the Bible Search can do that the speed search cannot. I find the speed search will work for me in many searches. The other tool links are the same and seem to depend on the bible being searched. The only difference I see is the custom button that allows for the range to be controlled in the bible search. So where do you cross the line and move from the speed search to the bible search functions?

I usually use Bible Search because it highlights the result words in the resource, it can search Collections (multiple bibles), and it is more flexible (options).

I use Speed Search to get a quick result from 1 bible e.g. "Speed Search this Resource" in the context menu.

    Dave,

Thanks for the response. Maybe I should have been more detailed in my explanation. I was reviewing the video on using the Esv reverse interlinear NT (http://www.logos.com/media/flash/esvrevint/ESVReverseInterlinear.html) to strengthen my ability to get into the original language. It ocurred to me that in the video the bible speed search could be used to to everything that was being done there and that I had not only needed the refresh on the esv interlinear but also needed a refresh on the capacity of the bible speed search. I had a very limited understanding of its capacity. It has more to it than I had thought. That is what caused me to ask the question. You are right the Bible search does have the ability to search multiple bibles, but the speed search will also highlight multiple words and in this cintext will generate links to all the same places under the "other tools" heading. Do a search on "exact(evil) in both in the esv reverse interlinear NT and the reports are identical in content but not in presentation. I kind of like the speed search report presentation more. Just my opinion.

I just thought others would  have some imput I could glean from too.

Your point about the multiple access is well taken thanks again.

They are both text searches and can use the same operators, so a query in Bible Search can also be run in Speed Search (or Morphological Bible Search or Advanced Search)!
