Anyone have a solid (and reasonably short) on methodologies for highlighting and/or note taking? Anything to improve my skillsets would be appreciated.

Precepts Ministries has this summary document on Inductive Bible Study using their distinctive highlighting and note-taking techniques: http://www.precept.org/site/DocServer/InductiveStudyOverview_1-Sheet.pdf
LearnLogos.com has some webinars on using Logos to do Inductive Bible Study, including highlighting methods: http://www.learnlogos.com/category_s/1516.htm

Rosie, I'm already using exegetical methodologies that get the same type of information as precept. Were the LearLogos videos good? I though about picking them up but wasn't sure if they would be worth while...

I haven't actually watched any of the LearnLogos videos myself, but others have said John Fallahee who teaches them is an excellent teacher.
EDIT: Each one is not that expensive. I'd try one and see if you like his approach; then get more if that one helped you.

I have participated in a couple of His webinars and purchased download copies of several of them as well. He is a good teacher that provides real world strategies for using the software for bible study and sermon / lesson prep. Rosie's suggestion to by a couple of the webinars (they are only 5$ bucks each) is a good idea.
