Absent Excerpts on the Home Page Revisited

Hi, all!

I posted a while ago on this topic and patiently waited for the bug fix in the release of 4.5. According to the WIKI, this bug was fixed in this release, but my home page continues to be surprisingly empty of excerpts. I have done the FN-F5 and have "excerpts" check on my customization pop up.

I like my excerpts and want to see them back.

Please help!

Click on the paper clip icon
click "choose file"
navigate to your screen shot
click "choose" (at least it's "choose on mac - maybe "insert" on PC?)
Then click "insert"

You probably have noticed the customise button in the lower left corner of the home page?????

That gives you lots of options. *smile*

Try Shift+F5 rather than just F5 (which only refreshes the home page, but doesn't clear the cache like the former does.)

Hi!

Shift F5 does nothing for me. In order to refresh my device, I have to hit Fn-F5. I did that after the release of 4.5 and have restarted Logos several times, with no results.

I hope there is a solution out there. I really like those excerpts; getting to see those jewels that are hidden in my library is wonderful.

I enjoy Logos a lot, it has a lot of great features, some of which I am still waiting patiently for, but I would really like to have this one back soon!

If you have to hit the Fn key to get F5 to react, you may want to try Shift+Fn+F5.
