Reading Plan Keeps Resetting on Desktop

Hi - I am getting super frustrated with my reading plan. I know that there are issues with syncing between OS devices and the desktop version and maybe that is causing this problem. But everyday when I log in to Logos, my reading plan has been changed. I am trying to do the mccheyne reading plan. I am about seven days into it so far, but everyday when I open Logos it has changed to a generic read the bible in a year plan starting on that days date. If I followed this I would be reading Genesis 1-3 every, single day
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks!

Hi Heather,
As you will see from some previous threads there are a number of people who share your frustrations.
It is rare though for us to hear of someone who has their desktop reading plan altered by their mobile device - usually it is the other way round.
I use the M'Cheyne plan on my desk top and it does keep in time.
Hope however is on the way - there should soon (next day or so) be an update for the iPhone and iPad apps which will allow syncing of highlights, notes and reading plans. The latest desktop version is ready for highlights and notes syncing and there is to be a short Beta phase to the next service release which will bring Reading Plans onto the scheme.
Strangely I am heartened that Logos' equipment was over whelmed by the number of users who have come on board with reading plans etc. It almost feels like revival to me.
Hold in there - good times are a'commin
Edit - Just downloaded the new iOS version.

Hi Mike -
Thanks for the info. I went in a few days ago and deleted all the reading plans (my mobile device seems to keep adding more to my desktop) and restarted a new plan. When I came back to it this morning, it had completely changed again, back to a generic read the bible in a year plan, starting me out on Genesis 1-3. Hopefully it will get fixed soon. For now, I am going to use YouVersion to keep track of my reading plan.
Blessings,

Heather,
I discovered that if I delete the reading plan on my iOS device it will automatically create a new one. I deleted it several times from my iPhone and before I knew it I had 3 new Read the Bible in a year reading plans on my iPad. I finally got it down to just one reading plan on my iOS devices and left it alone ( hopefully the fix comes out soon). Have you tried leaving the default reading plan on your computer and making newones for your other reading plans?
What I did to get the reading plan on my device was to create it in L4M and the export it to iCal. The calendar now has my daily readings, it's frustrating but I mainly read on my iPad so I can at least track my daily readings on my calendar.

Hi Stephen,
What you just described is exactly what I have been experiencing. I will give your suggestions a try and see what happens.
Thanks!

Hi Heather
Just to clarify something - apologies if you already know this.
There was a recent update to the iPad app (to version 2.0.2) and Logos (to 4.5) which allows notes and highlights to sync between the two environments.
This did not include support for syncing reading plans. This will require another update to the iPad app and Logos 4.5a (which is currently in beta testing). We are hoping that these are rolled out soon but don't have a date as yet
