Wondering why it's taking so long to get this out of Bidding.

Matthew Henry is better, but having both in Logos would be even better.

Oh got to add this quote.
If I must have only one commentary, and had read Matthew Henry as I have, I do not know but what I should choose Poole. He is a very prudent and judicious commentator . . . not so pithy and witty by far as Matthew Henry, but he is perhaps more accurate, less a commentator, and more an expositor.

Wondering why it's taking so long to get this out of Bidding. ??
Because people like me [:$] put in a low-ball bid when it was first listed and never came back to adjust it. I have just now raised my $20 initial bid to the $30 dominant bid level.
For years, my classic 4 commentaries were Matthew Henry, Barnes Notes, JFB, and Matthew Poole.
Anybody wonder if Matthew Poole was teased by his childhood friends calling him "Matthew Poodle?" [:P]

If I may further the quote:
"Poole is not so pithy and witty by far as Matthew Henry, but he is perhaps more accurate, less a commentator, and more an expositor. You meet with no ostentation of learning in Matthew Poole, and that for the simple reason that he was so profoundly learned as to be able to give results without a display of his intellectual crockery. A pedant who is forever quoting Ambrose and Jerome, Piscator and Œcolampadius, in order to show what a copious reader he has been, is usually a dealer in small wares, and quotes only what others have quoted before him, but he who can give you the result and outcome of very extensive reading without sounding a trumpet before him is the really learned man."

Quick! Everyone jump into Poole!

At everyone's urging, I have dived into the Poole, and the water's fine. If we all can simply Poole our resources, it shouldn't take long for things to go swimmingly. [A]

Well, I've been swimming in the Poole for years with E4. Not long enough to have GILL"S however! This set of commentaries is my goal!
