I noticed Logos 4 was automatically downlaoding a 35meg update.I was wondering if there was anyway to discover what was downloaded? Also, the indexer icon appears to be stuck in the taskbar.
Right click the blue icon. It probably wants you to OK the update.
Cheers, but I have already okayed the update and it downloaded. It began indexing (didn't seem to take too long). I was simply wondering how I find out what updated?
Others have asked for this but I don't believe it is available. It might be in a log file somewhere that I am unaware of.
Thanks. It was the indexing that threw me. I assumed it was a resource update.
I'm not sure of the exact wording but it does tell you; it asks you if want to download a "resouce update" vs a "program update" or something like that. Also pay attention to what happens when it asks to install it, it will ask to restart Logos 4. If a windows installer type box comes up then it's actually updating the program, if it goes to Preparing your library then resources were updated, sometimes it might be both.
If you're feeling nerdy [:D] While or after it's downloading, you can also have also have a look at this directory to see what's coming in...
Logos4\Data\{random}\ResourceManager\Downloaded
Or after it's installed a resource update, go to your resources directory, and sort by Date Modified...
Lol! Jon, can you tell me where I can find those two paths please? I feel nerdy but am far from knowledgable when it comes to comps, especially PCs!
C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\Logos4\ is the start of that path.
And so, I find myself traveling down this path of becoming "geekier" than I want to be and Logos, in the vein of coarser granularity is unwittingly giving me a nudge.[8-|]

Philip,
From your often changed avatars, I am wondering if you are in some kind of mid life identity crisis. [:D]

I really liked the "Don't Shack" one, but someone brought up an interesting point about keeping things away from theological debate. The Care Bear was great, but made me laugh and feel a little....wierd....when I saw it. I'm really tired of seeing myself in a suit. I hate ties :-) My dog in his happy place is the best I could come up with...what am I to do!!!!!
