I was excited for the update only to find that it crashes on both my iPad 2 and iPhone 4.

I am seeing the same thing - the app crashing when I try and start it.
Logos, is there any diagnostic information we can provide to help get to the bottom of this?

Huh. No problems yet on my iPhone 4S.
Mine is working, but I did a hard reset of my iPad before relaunching. This might help. Blessings!

Are you worried about having to re-download books? A new feature is "download all." This can also be used in a filtered situation (i.e. you can filter for Vyrso books and download just those).
A problem I encountered was my highlighting file, but that bug has already been fixed.

Yes, just do a hard reset and you should be back in business... I find that a lot of apps need this to work correctly after an update.
Mine also crashes immediately on startup on my iPad 2 (which has >25 GB free), even after rebooting the ipad. Before v2 I had downloaded about 100 resources, and some of them have a good bit of highlighting on the desktop, which may be related to the problem.If I turn on Airplane mode on the iPad (to disable WiFi), Logos runs fine and can open resources I had downloaded to the iPad before v2. Of course it can't see the other resources.I really hope that within a day Logos either puts up a fix for v2, or puts the old version on the App store as a second option for users.

One of the known issues:
Known Issues Media resources that had been downloaded must be removed and redownloaded
You might want to try an delete the app (which will get rid of the downloaded resources) and reinstall.
