Ratings not synchronizing with iPad
I was wondering if anyone was having problems syncing changed resource ratings from their Logos Desktop (Mac) Logos desktop to the iPad. I have changed ratings for a number of my resources and synced the desktop application. However, when I go to the iPad, none of my new ratings are available and only old ratings are reflected. Can anyone duplicate this and let me know if I am an isolated incident? Thanks.

Yes, I am on the latest service release of 4.5 for Mac and iPad 2.0. I was having the same problem under the previous versions. Are you able to see changes of ratings made on your desktop reflected on your iPad? Thanks.

David I tried a number of things
after rating a random resource to 5 stars on my desktop, I tried syncing, update now, update resources, shutting down and reopening Logos, and a number of combinations of all of these variables with no change in the rating of the resource on my iPad.
Maybe a Logos employee could enlighten us on some time variable we have not been able to test, that is required for updates to transfer from Logos4 to the App.
We know that ratings eventually transfer to the mobile app, question is how long do we have to give it and is time all we have to give it?
[EDIT] - as a test, @ 2:51AM CST I've given 0162 from The Text of the Earliest New Testament Greek Manuscripts a 5 star rating with no immediate change to its rating in the mobile app. I'll continue to check periodically to see if time does matter here.

David - I will give you an unofficial answer... My guess is that this has not been converted to the sync 2.0 infrastructure yet. I have a couple of books which I rated a LONG time ago and those are showing up with ratings.

...still no updated rating on the iPad...

I've noticed the same problem for a while. Long before iPad 2.0 came out. Hoped it would be fixed with 2.0. It seems the rating is loaded with the resource the first time you open or download it, and never gets updated.

I forgot to update Y'all: I spoke with the developers and both Collections and Ratings have not been ported to sync v.2 yet, but are planned for being so. In other words, it doesn't work yet, but it will.
