2.0.1 Downloaded Books Problem

Thanks for update - looks good!

One problem I have found that when I go off-line my downloaded books don't appear (even though they have the downloaded symbol against them in the library view when I am on-line). Am I missing anything obvious?

Sounds strange - when I go offline I can see my downloaded books in the library.

You don't have anything typed in the search box (top right) do you which means that your downloaded books are being filtered out?

Thanks Graham - yes thats the problem - I was expecting to see the books listed with nothing in the search box but I see you need to enter something there!

Yes, I would expect all of your books to be listed when you didn't have anything in the search box

entering something will act as a filter so limit the books which you see

 

I wonder if - somehow - you had a non-visible character there which was confusing things

peculiar!  You should see listed all of your downloaded books when not connected/in airplane mode if the search field is clear.  Are you saying you see nothing but after searching the relevant books appear?

Yes. When on-line a blank search box gives me the full library listing. When off line a blank search box gives me an empty library listing - I need to enter a character in search box to get any entries. This wasn't the case under the previous version - hence my puzzlement!

How are your books being sorted, out of curiosity? Note in the screen shot the upper left hand corner. Try playing with that in offline mode and let us know if there is a change! Also, kill the app and restart it and see if there is a change.

They were sorted by title. Killing the app and restarting it has solved the problem.
