Suggestions for the next iPad version
I'm really happy with 2.0.1 on the iOS - well done. However there are a few little things that I'd like to suggest:
1. "Text at the Top" - This might be because I'm a bit picky but I'd like to have the option to move the verse that I'm reading to the top of the page. Sometimes when I've been reading I'll leave it to do something else and then come back. I'd like to be able to move off screen everything I've previously read and put the next verse at the top of the screen. Not always easy to do that. Olive Tree's Bible Reader gets it right.
2. Split Screen settings. For whatever reason I get the Summarized Bible: NT as the default on the split screen when I open it. I'd like to be able to change that setting and make it whatever book I want - such as a study bible. I've looked all over the app for the settings on that and can't find it. Additionally I'd like to be able to manipulate the text sizes on each pane differently.
3. A more prominent history setting - I hate digging, but I have to in order to be able to quickly jump back and forth to what I was previously looking at.
4. A way to "reset" the recently viewed books. The list just seems to grow.
5. A way to set a part of my library as my "frequently used" or "favorites" - that way I can quickly find which resources in particular I am looking for.
Again I am grateful for an excellent tool like this app. The fact that it's free and syncs with my Mac app itself is amazing. 2.0 shows some very impressive improvements and I am eager to see what's in store down the road. The UI is pretty spot on so just a few modifications and I think you'll have it nailed.

I'm with you on this one. The same resource constantly opens up for me. It's especially problematic when you have the panels linked. It always moves my Bible verse to whatever is on the Summarized Bible (which I never use).

Yes please.

There currently is a favorites button in which I use for this functionality.

Jeremy and Jonathan, all that you need to do is tap the pane that you want a new default resource in. then go to the Library and find the new book that you want and then open it. once you try it, it is very easy.

Perhaps it was because of syncing issues but the Summarized Bible would return even if I had a different resource in that window when I last used it.

My 2 cents
1. Fix Reading Plan Sync!!!!!!!!!
2. Add the ability to sync my Prayer lists to my iOS devices[;)]

I would like to see the ability to create and work with notes that are unattached to a resource. Or to open our notes in the split screen.
