Is there an easy way to analyse or graph morph-search results?

G'day guys...

I was doing a little study in James this morning, and had the bright idea to see how many imperatives there are within this little epistle, using @V??M.

Continuing with this train of thought, I compared the amount of imperatives with Hebrews, expecting a similarly high result. Then I searched each book of the NT.

Qn:- Is there an easy way to compare the 27 different results, either graphically or otherwise?

If Morph Search Analysis had three columns for reference: Book, Chapter, and Verse then could show in Logos 4.

Currently can export Morph Search Analysis to Excel, then create a Pivot Table to show Imperative Verb distribution:

In the exported results added a column "Count" with a value of 1 so Pivot Table could sum count values.

Note: column C has Reference from Morph Search Analysis: e.g. Matthew 1:20, Philemon 22

For Book, inserted a column (D) with formula: =LEFT(C2,FIND(" ",C2,3)-1)

For Chapter insert a column (E) with formula: =IF(ISERROR(FIND(":",C2)),1,VALUE(MID(C2,FIND(" ",C2,3)+1,FIND(":",C2)-FIND(" ",C2,3)-1)))

Copied Book and Chapter formulas to fill cells next to column C that had References.

Click in cell A1, then inserted a Pivot table using Books for Rows, Chapters for Columns and Sum of Counts.

In Morph Search, search Hebrews-James in your preferred morph Bible for @V??M:

When the search completes, click "Graph results" in the upper-left of the Morph Search panel.

The "Graph Bible Search Results" window will open. Click "Bar Chart" at the bottom, then try some of the different chart styles (e.g., "Number of Verses with Hits in Chapter") to see if they're what you're looking for. (In the "Graph Bible Search Results" toolbar, there is a "Show zero items" button that will hide/show chapters that have no hits.)

Using Logos 4.5a Beta 2, noticed "Graph Results" is greyed out for Morph Search Analysis:

For Analysis, if Reference column was split into 3 columns (Book, Chapter, Verse), then could group by Book and Chapter using Morph Search Analysis.

KS4J and Bradley....thank you very much for your help. I knew I had seen this function somewhere, but forgot where. I even learnt how to export the results to excel. To say the least... I am well chuffed! Thank you!
