Notes Font Size - Program Settings (Missing)

So for Bibles & books, I have my default text size set to 120%.  I like this for reading... I also saw the need to increase that from 110% this last year, a sign that I am getting older??

Anyways - in program settings, under "Notes" I can set the default font, but not the default font size.

So it seems that notes start at 120% as well, which just looks huge!  Why can we not change the font size for Notes separately?  I believe we used to be able to...

You're mixing up two things: default notes text size and scaling. As for the former, it's been moved from Program Settings to the individual note files, as stated in the release notes:

    • Removed default note text size from Program Settings (default is now set in the Notes panel) and implemented new command to change the text size of old notes which used the default size set in Program Settings and have not been edited for size since the option was removed: Set Old Default Notes Text Size to x where x is the desired font size or ‘default’ to set notes to current default size.

As for the latter, the truth is the opposite of what you assume: there was no scaling at all for notes, but now there is (which is why it looks bigger, since your general setting is over 100%). If you want less scaling in notes than elsewhere, just click on the icon in the top left corner and adjust the slider (I'm guessing you've probably used a bigger than normal font to make up for the lack of scaling, so now that scaling is here, your normal percentage for other panels becomes too big in notes).
