I can't unlock books

I put the cd's in, followed directions, the books are found in the library locked, when I want to unlock they want me to pay for them all over again. I am only here because I cannot find a way to actually get through to logos. . I have been on hold forever. They said go to forums. This is my last attempt before giving up. perhaps this not a program for me. I will go back to pcbiblesoft and wordsearch.

Sorry you are having problems and it is most unusual for Logos to keep people hanging on hold. There customer service is usually pretty good.

Perhaps the way for you to do it would be to download the engine - create and account - and then use the command 'Scan (address of your Cd).

Welcome to the forums! I'm sorry you're having trouble. I hope I can help. First, a few questions:

1. Are you installing on a computer with an Internet connection currently established?

2. Did the program ask you to enter the license key?

3. Did you already set up an account on the Logos website using an email address and password?

I assume you mean the "on hold" system mentioned that the forums would be a good place to get help. Is that right? I also assume that you called this morning? You should be aware that Logos is headquartered on the West Coast of the United States. If you called this morning you would have been calling 1) after a weekend and 2) after a major release of a mobile device which has had a couple of hiccups. Normally I have found Logos customer service to be fast & helpful, but I can only imagine that there were many people calling in this morning.

Can you tell us about the CD's? Did you buy them from a store? Internet? A Logos rep? Did you purchase a base package or just a single resource?

From description of books in library locked, suspect CD's have older Libronix software. Logos 4 does not have unlocked books in library.

Apologies: I'm aware of one older Essential Bible Study Library CD that needs Logos Customer Service to unlock resource licenses for your Logos.com account; can email or call Logos => http://www.logos.com/about/contact
