Suggestion: Support for "simple" bookmarks OR chapter-based reading plans

I'd love to have the ability to set multiple "simple" bookmarks in a book/bible (similar to Kindle bookmark functionality) AND/OR the ability to create reading plans based on x number of chapters per day.  I use Professor Horner's Bible reading plan and am currently driven to using Kindle to do my daily Bible reading.  I know that the plan can be "simulated" with the current reading plans, but it's a complicated process and nowhere near perfect.  Implimenting one of these capabilities would solve the issues.  I'd much rather do my reading in Logos...please?
