Problems Renaming Folders

I'm running 4.5 SR-2 on a brand new MBP with 8 gig of RAM running 10.7.2. In favorites, I cannot rename a folder. I"ve tried naming it when created and right clicking on the folder and selecting rename from the shortcut menu. Regardless, the folder name never gets focus. Any keyboard input will simply take me to a folder who's name corresponds to the key I've entered. Here's a screen shot of where I am:

Apologies: using Logos 4.5a Beta 2, unable to replicate issue.
Wonder what command+z does to folder in Favorites ?
Also wonder about clicking in a different tab to change focus to that tab, then click on Favorites tab, followed by trying to rename ?
Keep Smiling [:)]

Command+z has no effect on the folder. I've tried clicking another folder, then coming back and selecting the folder to rename. Nothing allows me to edit the folder name (or even name the folder for that matter).

I can verify that it doesn't work on my system (4.5a b2) either. It seems to me that I found a workaround, but I am forgetting what it is.

I am likewise, unable to reproduce the issue. This may sound silly, but you may want to try restarting the app. If that has no effect it would be helpful if you could post your logs here.

Tonya - I had restarted the app but the problem persisted. In conjunction with this advice, I restarted my computer, enabled logging, and... the problem went away. [:D]

Likewise after updating to SR-3 and rebooting, its all now working. The first rule of tech support: reboot.
Thanks.

I too have a problem renaming anything in favorites. I have had the problem on two different MacBook Pros running Mac Lion 10.7.4
The problem is as Dr. Cozier reported. I did find that at one time with several different attempts, it finally did highlight correctly, but only one time.
More testing is needed on this. That is two different machines experiencing the same thing. I do not have logging turned on and I have not done a search to find out how to do it just yet.
LOGOS version used: 4.5c SR-3 (4.53.0.2294)
Blessings,
Chris

After spending time figuring out how to turn logging on, the ability to rename favorites now works.
Hopefully others will find out how to do this too while this gets reconsidered for being fixed. Bug report filed.
Initial bug confirmed replicated on two different MacBook Pros.
Thanks!

First download this Applescript file from KS4J Logos 4 Mac AppleScript Application It will enable/disable logging for you
Then download Logos Log Scribe This little app will gather your logs, create an archive, and place it on your desktop.
Then use the little paper clip in the forum reply menu to attach the archive to your post
That's all there is to it [8-|]
