Ipad 2 app crashing after update

Has anyone found a solution to the problem of the app crashing upon launch? Logos can't help me, because it crashes on launch and they are unable to get any info. I thought this app was incomplete without the ability to take notes and highlight text...be careful what you wish for.I hope this is solved soon.
