Camp Logos 2 DVD creating microsoft word 2010 bibliography resource list

In the dvd lectures on the creating a list of your library resources Morris Proctor explains to simply go to the new collections tab and create a name example my logos books and then click the print/export button, at this point you can print (a lenghty list) or send to word at this point you can drag the word document that you placed on the desk top, to the logos task bar. when clicking the icon your list of books open up. your suppose to be able to hoover over the hyperlink and open up the resource. My problem is I get an error message saying, "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. please contact your system administrator." the thing is its my personal computer and as far as I know it is some type of administrative task that is preventing it from working. I know most hyperlinks can link to websites and such, but I'm not sure about this one, Can some one shine some light on my situation, I am using a windows platform, windows 7 with micosoft 2010,

Is Logos set up to Run as Administrator? Go to its icon or name of the Logos program in your Start or Programs, right click for Properties, and go to the Compatibility tab. If Run this program as Administrator is checked, you cannot drag external links to the tool bar. You have to turn it off (you may need that set however, if you installed Logos as Administrator, because then any updates require it).

Actually from what Morris did, an easier way by far IMHO (and what I did) is to take the Word Bibliography document, and compile it as a Personal Book! Then you drag the Resource to the tool bar, and then everything is inside Logos. Very sweet!

Thanks, I'll try that one day. it would leave it out of word i guess but more accessible in logos

Mark i tried your way and it works, still though I thought when you hoover over the hyperlink the pointer is suppose to turn to the finger and left click, but it does not, have to hooover over the hyperlink hit control key and click, but it works thnks for the help to the both of you,

You have to CTRL+click all hyperlinks in Office. That's do that you can click on the to edit, without jumping into another application when you didn't mean to.
