Crash:New Laptop LOGOS crashes while starting after install

Just bought a new laptop. After installing LOGOS4 and after downloading library and indexing has finished. LOGOS crashes on start up. It goes through splash page to opening the program then stops working. No error message just a window saying that the program as stopped working.

New System:HP Pavilion dm4 Notebook PC, Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 64-bit, Intel Core i5-2430M CPU @ 2.40GHz, 6GB RAM, Windows Experience Index 5.0

You may be able to work around this by holding down CTRL at startup, and selecting "Use blank layout" on the Sign In dialog.

However, the app will probably crash whenever you open a particular resource that has a Reading Plan Visual Filter enabled in it.

I updated today to 4.5a Beta 3. Now LOGOS will open. But, when I hover my mouse over a footnote, superscript # to see footnote popup (and in info panel) the program stops working. I tried it in several different resources, in several different layouts and it continued to crash. When I change the setting to "Show Footnotes on Page" it works fine. I just prefer not having the footnotes cluttering up the page. Here are tha latest log files. Including the setup logs, if that helps.

Edit: Actually, it is slightly different, but probably has the same underlying cause.
