I want the synching capabilities but it does seem to affect performance when they are running all the time.
I would like to be able to choose an option that syncs at startup, exit and manually.

Good idea.
Me too...
Or even one that allows me to reduce the time between syncs. I think that it's currently every minute, which imho is overkill
Isn't the sync also like a backup of your work? So even if your system crashes, you would never lose anything more than a minute of your work. Right? So why would we not want it to sync more frequently?
Imagine if Logos changes the default to, "sync on exit only", the minute someone lost hours worth of study, there would be complaints on the forum, "why doesn't this thing auto-sync every minute to save my work."
Right?
I wouldn't recommend making the default to sync on startup and exit.
I'm just suggesting that the options be expanded beyond Internet On and Internet Off.
Damian's suggestion for being able to select timed intervals is also very helpful.

I haven't had a download for days. I miss my download fix ! [H]
No problem George, just randomly delete some interlinears. They'll come back - problem solved. [:D]
Every 5 minutes would seem more reasonable to me than every minute - that's sort of the standard in the other programs I use with auto backup.
George, get a Mac and you can go through Beta testing all over again... plenty of downloads in that :-)
Damian and all,
I am not in the Windows version now, so I can't speak to how annoying or not the sync option is. I just know I am glad that it does excellent backups and if something were to crash, my work will not be lost.
